Vacancy Announcement: Chef
Blue Mountain Inn (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Chef to manage its kitchen operation and ensure high standards of food quality and presentation. A passion for cooking, attention to detail, and experience in a busy kitchen are essential.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Menu development, food preparation, and presentation.
- Manage the kitchen staff to always ensure efficiency and professionalism.
- Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Monitor waste management to ensure optimal kitchen performance.
- Collaborate with management to continuously enhance the culinary offerings and guest satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a chef.
- Ability to cook on a large scale for groups of 100-200 people.
- A diploma in culinary arts or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to relocate.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
