Moshoeshoe 1 Scholarship is a Higherlife Foundation Lesotho scholarship named in honor of the late King Moshoeshoe 1 who founded the Basotho Nation. The scholarship seeks to enhance learning opportunities for academically gifted students. This is done in a bid to raise a generation of young leaders and change makers who will build Lesotho into becoming an upper middle-income country. The recipients of the scholarship should be Lesotho citizens under the age of 21 who would like to pursue STEM careers and have obtained the minimum 7As on their LGCSE/IGCSE results.
Successful applicants will be required to participate in community engagement activities and attend compulsory leadership development programs throughout the duration of their degree programs.

Eligibility:
Must be under the age of 21.
Must have obtained 7 As.
Must be seeking to study courses in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
Must be seeking to study at universities in Lesotho, South Africa, Zimbabwe, or Zambia (Ts & Cs apply).
Demonstrated leadership acumen and participation in community initiatives are an added advantage.
Only Lesotho nationals are eligible.
