Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s financial strategy, forecasting, and planning to support CBS’s growth objectives.
- Manage and develop the Finance team to achieve corporate goals.
- Drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support investment in innovation, product development, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, effective debt collection, and strong cash flow management.
- Maintain robust risk management, cost control, and internal financial controls.
- Lead the timely completion of financial audits.
- Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, financial institutions, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
- Support commercial functions in pricing strategies, procurement oversight, and project finance.
- Oversee regulatory and tax compliance in Lesotho and relevant jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the ICT, technology, or professional services sector is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of automated accounting systems and financial technology.
- Proven capability to develop, improve, and revamp finance systems and processes.
- Strong financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making skills.
- Powerful leadership skills and ability to lead the finance team and develop talent.
- Familiarity with industry accounting and audit standards (e.g., IFRS), Lesotho tax laws, and regional compliance environments.
- Strategic thinker with excellent written and verbal communication, integrity, analytical ability, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience engaging with Boards and external stakeholders.
- Minimum of 5 years in a financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or CFO role, preferably within the private sector.
