ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE (SHORT TERM) – MINET LESOTHO

OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As an Accounts Executive in the Short-Term Department, your focus will be on driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and enhancing client acquisition strategies. The position will report to the Short-Term Manager with a duty station in Maseru and requiring extensive travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Relationship management with various client contacts.
Understand the client’s priorities.
Draw up and ensure implementation of the client promise plan.
Ensure service level agreements and annual service plans for your clients are in place and adhered to. Train clients on products and emerging risks.
Study, internalize, and advise both the business and the clients on the trends in the economic sectors allocated to you.
Ensure the business meets the KYC documentation threshold for retention.
Seek appropriate wording.
Develop service level agreements.
Ensure clients are placed with secure carriers.
Invoicing and collection of underwriter endorsements.
Issue policy documents to clients.
Audit policy documents to ensure they reflect the client’s expectations.
Grow accounts organically.
Ensure strategic partnerships with Minet Global Partners and the local insurer.
Support sales, finance, and claims teams.
Ensure timely premium settlement, receipting, and allocation of premiums for the accounts within your management.
Develop mechanisms of customer engagement and feedback.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
3 Year Diploma in Insurance and/or B. Com in Insurance or other relevant degree desirable.
An Associate or Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute or equivalent professional insurance qualification is essential.
Minimum of 3 years insurance experience in handling Corporate, Commercial, and Personal Lines Clients.
Have a good working knowledge of Corporate, Commercial, and Personal Lines Insurance Products, which include, among others, Assets and Income, Business Combined, Fire Policy wordings, Construction All Risks, Workmen Compensation, Stated Benefits, Fiduciary Liabilities, Motor Fleets, etc.
Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
