EcoCash Operations Officer

Position:       EcoCash Operations Officer – SEFS
Department:   Sasai Econet Financial Services (SEFS)
Reports To:     EcoCash Operations Manager – SEFS

Main Purpose

To ensure that EcoCash revenue targets are met by providing exceptional operational support to agents, billers, merchants, and bulk payment users.

Main Tasks

• Register new EcoCash Agents, Billers, Merchants, and Bulk Payment users.
• Provide support to stakeholders, including password resets, bulk crons, and transaction reversals.
• Create and reconcile EcoCash stock for agents, merchants, and bulk payment users.
• Process reimbursements, float requests, and agent commissions.
• Perform system checks and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new products.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly Ecocash operational reports.

Educational Qualifications and Related Experience

• 3-year Diploma in Business Management, Social Sciences, Finance, Administration, or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in customer support or a similar environment.

Knowledge Areas & Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare reports.
• Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
