Seinoli Legal Centre (SLC) was established in 2014 as the first public interest law center in Lesotho dedicated to meeting the legal needs of marginalized communities affected by large infrastructure development projects, including the Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP). The centre has expanded its work to address communities impacted by other land-based investments, such as agribusiness activities and mineral resource extraction, particularly diamond mining. SLC’s mission is to provide communities with sustained, comprehensive access to the law to safeguard social, economic, and environmental rights through strategic litigation, advocacy, and capacity strengthening.
Role Description
This is an invitation for Graphic Designers to submit their profiles and portfolios to be included in SLC’s roster. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating graphics, designing reports, branding designs, billboards, and any other projects that need graphics.
Qualifications
- Graphics, Graphic Design, and Logo Design skills
- Branding and Typography skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Experience with print and digital design
- Knowledge of harnessing already existing organizational branding, such as logo colors, brand tone, etc, to create new designs
- Experience working with non-profit organizations or corporate institutions is a plus.
