Position and Grade
Senior Public Relations Officer – Grade D1 (Paterson Grading System)
Reporting lines
- Position reports to:
- Divisional Manager: Phase II – Administratively
- Public Relations Manager – Functionally
- Type of Contract: Five (5) year Fixed-term Contract
Job Purpose:
To provide strategic, integrated Public Relations leadership for Phase II of the LHWP, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, proactive reputation management, and high-quality communication outputs that support project delivery, mitigate risk, and enhance public trust.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field with at least seven (7) to ten (10) years’ relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, media relations, and reputation management, three (3) of which should be at senior-level responsibility.
Essential requirements
The incumbent should have strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
